Just an example, Nadia is strongly opposed to any kind of killing, at all, regardless of the circumstances. So when someone shoots one of the many guys who is trying to geher, her immediate reaction is to turn on her savior and accuse him of murder.
Not something I can really see Shinji doing. Or almost anyone, really, other than Nadia.
