I need to get this out right now before I forget about it.
>A second Omnic crisis occurs
>Everyone of Overwatch gets reactivated.
>Even Reaper and Widow decide to fight alongside, for fear of the world being destroyed and not being able to continue, maybe even getting a reprieve.
>Bastion is a part of it as well, since he wants to protect his forest
>It comes down to the point where they need to retreat, and it seems they will be overwhelmed if they don't leave soon.
>Bastion sees this, and all this time...he wants to protect his forest, and his friends.
>He stops 76 from holding the line against the horde headed towards them.
>He points at 76, then away. Then himself, and at the ground.
>76 and the others try to reason with Bastion, as best they can, since he can only beep and boop.
>The realize he is serious when he takes the small bird that followed him all the time and places it on a tree, waves goodbye to it, and turns back towards the oncoming horde.
>The rest of the overwatch team leave, leaving Bastion there.
>He switches to his sentry mode
>Very quietly...he beeps out something quietly.
>It sounds like...Superman.
>He then lets out his "charge" beep...and fights.
>People still say that due to Bastion keeping back so many of the fighters, they were able to push back against the omnics and win once more
>Bastion was made an honorary overwatch member after his "death".
>A statue is placed in one of the towns in honor of bastion
>It is said, that a small bird comes now and then, to rest on his shoulders.
Don't know why I put this here...I just think it fits with what I look at Bastion as. Plus, I kind of wonder what the overwatch characters would do in his honor, ya know?
