Some of the posters there even banded together and revived several translation projects. The initial purpose of the threads was to dump 3 chapters of Kyou Kara Ore Wa!! every day, but all those other series were welcome topics as well. I would never have learned about Bakuon Rettou (or Takahashi Tsutomu in general really), Shinjuku Swan, or Bucchigiri without those threads.
