>>3016138I'm not in the Marvel fandom, I only drift in and out on occasion. And the reason I don't stay is because there doesn't seem to be much content for the pairings I'm interested in (except Stucky, there's plenty of that) like Steve/Sam or Tony/Rhodey.
>they don't think Cheadle's attractiveI wasn't aware he was considered unattractive. It might be an age thing though. I could see teenagers not seeing what's attractive about him; but I'm old, so...
>>3016145>they accuse fans of racism for thinking Kylo Ren has any depth beyond a remorseless baby snacker, only to infantilize Finn into a shallow goody two shoes who can't even hurt a fly.Finn is way more complicated, obviously. And it annoys the hell out of me to see him portrayed as nothing but a smol cinnamon roll, who's just sooo delicate. Do people forget that he kills, like 20 people in the movie (plenty of Stormtroppers die by his hand)? He fights hard and has a character arc. Maybe all they focus on is the cuteness of his interactions with Poe? Except that he's killing peeps while being cute with Poe, so that theory just died on the vine for me.
As for Kylo, I honestly don't understand why he gets so much hate. Is it because he kills Han, a beloved character? Is it only his looks? It can't be his evilness levels, because Hux is way more evil if one really thinks about it and he doesn't get much hate (most of his fan hate is in relation to Kylo) he kills probably trillions and isn't shown to feel any remorse. Isn't that more evil then Kylo, who IS shown to feel some amount of guilt and inner turmoil?
None of the characters are perfect and innocent in TFA, they all have pros and cons. That's called good writing and characterization (IMO TFA has those things, feel free to disagree of course) Also, no one in RL is perfect and even super awesome good people have sex. I think it must be an age thing. I think I just don't get the youth these days. :/
That pic is all kinds of amazingly sexy by the way...
