Yay, a Mononoke thread! I bought it on DVD last week, I had no idea someone has licensed it.
The translation made a lot more sense than the fansubs that are out there, it's not as fancy and literal. There are a few mistakes but I enjoyed it more then the other versions. Picture quality isn't the best, compared to the beautiful Ayakashi DVD it's a little scary. Still a good purchse IMO. They don't make shows like this very often. It's more akin to something like Rashomon than what we think of anime.
