howdy /cm/!! this is sort of a weird question, but how do I get involved in the anime fandom/community, and how do I know what anime to watch?

I've always liked anime and have had crushes on a few characters but I'm a filthy casual and wanna be more hardcore

the only anime I've seen completely through are junjou romantica and ouran... I also really like kingdom hearts and dramatical murder?

I have a short attention span so I get bored of anime really quick :( my list to watch is mainly attack on titan, tokyo ghoul, and free!

can someone maybe just give me a starter guide? ;-;
