>>4050359I hope not. The "Everyone is only player-sexual" was fucking lame. Of course, the cast as a whole was lame, so I guess it fits. I vastly prefer every character to have a set of characters that they can potentially end up with and let the player act as matchmaker. I dislike how Awakening and Fates made nearly everyone available to all other opposite-sex options; yes, there was a gameplay reason as part of the eugenics mini-maxing, but I thought it was a lot worse than the GBA and Telius games where you could really get a feel for each character in who they could be attracted to (this is how we end up with Roy the manslut, Eliwood the dragon fucker, the incest twin leads of Sacred Stones, and Ike being gay). Since this game is supposed to take after Three Houses, I hope that the pairing elements of that return. There were some really nice and surprising options for that game, especially in the homosphere (just not for male Byleth prior to DLC).
