>>4046144Not quite. It's a BL/shonen-ai comedy, and having the main characters closer and a big focus on comedy aren't mutually exclusive. Besides, I wasn't imagining a 'happily ever after' couple in it, more like a season where Nakamura has already confessed, and Hirose is gradually accepting his feelings and gayness, doubt they'll both declare they love each other in ep 13, even if they might kiss. The awkwardness that follows serves for comedic purposes and this time it isn't just Nakamura messing things up but Hirose too, and we get to see more of his personality and hotheadedness like the author planned. Then there's a shift in tone in the finale when Hirose finally tells Nakamura he loves him back.
Doesn't matter because the series is over and dead anyway, but it's a nice thought and it works
