My theory is that the Nation-tans' minds, like everyone else's, are a combination of nature and nurture, with the aspects born of nature (everything physical, including the brain) baked in at the moment of their creation, never changing, and the aspects born of nurture changing constantly to reflect the mercurial nature of their nations' cultures
So, if Alfred really is all about that classical, foundational Americanism, yea, he'd hate Trump. But America is the freedom land built by slaves, a land of vast contradictions, and Trump is a very American animal.
So overall, I don't think he'd like Trump, but would he have hated him ven before all the gulag shit? I'm honestly not sure
