It's by far the weakest link in the "new" ships and whether you believe they are a couple or not, Shinji is simply not romantically available anymore. So their respective pairs are dashed anyway and so is Asuka's.
If I did not like Kaworu I would simply ignore him and his ships. People like Felipe and Reichu are really wasting their lives just making themselves more angry and frustrated. I'm glad this weird ironic/spiteful shipping doesn't seem to be a thing in jp and it's just fans producing what they like for likeminded people.
