And yeah, overall, I'm aware it's slightly absurd to dump on a show which went further than most shows, for not going as far as I wanted it to as a Westerner. Really, just, the fact that the homo was as overt was it was meant that the times it ducked its responsibilities felt especially glaring, which I appreciate is a perverse way to look at it. Still one I have a load of goodwill for though, overall.
