Yep, that was their first Kawoshin doujin. But the circle has a pretty solid track record which is really encouraging. I must have missed that tweet about their next one, that's too bad. Guess I'll be getting it second-hand after all.

Yeah their stock in general has always been lackluster, I usually buy from Mandarake or Suruga-ya. Obviously newly released works like Kakure's won't be on there, though.

I'm always a little nervous about Suruga-ya because of their lenient quality policy, though I haven't been burned yet. By the way, does anyone have experience with Otaku Republic? I need a more specialized proxy who can reasonably guarantee my order won't receive even slight damage on the way to bumfuck nowheristan. I don't mind paying extra if they are reliable.

I used Otaku Republic a couple times before I moved to Japan, they're a bit slow but I never received anything damaged. They seem like one of the more popular ones for doujinshi, I've seen them advertise their services at Anime cons before so they must be at least somewhat reliable.

Thanks for the info, anon. I often take risks with my packages, but I've had even DHL and FedEx arrive badly damaged. So for old doujins that won't easily be replaced if things go wrong I'd rather not take any risks at all. I just want quality packaging, speed and shipping costs are secondary.

Nah, if I remember correctly at best it's in the grey zone. It was one of a series of miscellaneous anime fanart commissioned by NewType from an ex-Khara animator, and Khara themselves had nothing to do with it.

A JUNE publication. Official in the sense that it has an ISBN and all that jazz. Also a couple of interviews but I don't know with whom. There's a copy for cheap on Mandarake.

If another copy turns up and it's not too expensive I just might. A book would be a different matter, but I'm not too squeamish about damaging/cutting up a mook for the sake of preservation. If it has anything worth preserving.
