I can look at my ref or a picture of him and know what about it makes him him, or what I like about certain interpretations but when it comes to replicating it I get frustrated with myself when I can't do it perfectly. I haven't been practicing consistently the past few years but even though there's visible improvement it's not enough for me to want to draw him. He deserves better.

His aesthetic is also the best to exist in any franchise ever and I will whiteknight his style until the end of time. I've managed to get friends who liked SMT into them but the general opinion of being too outdated to enjoy seems to have permeated most newcomers. Shame too, since they're interesting enough on their own and seeing the evolution into current persona is really cool. Adult party members again would be a breath of fresh air at this point too I agree.
