By the way, Tokyo Ghoul's set up in such a way that you enter in thinking it's going to be mainstream at the start, but it becomes seriously engaging and unique the farther in you go. It surprised me. I'd actually really recommend it as a solidly good story, I went the manga route and the art gets really elegant, just to give it a mention.
