- bots can be very colorful and fancy
- extra body parts like fins, angel or batlike wings, horns and others that make them kinda moe or hot as shit
- unlike with sexy uniforms and costumes all of the stuff above is part of their body. It was always disappointing for me to remember that even humans with the hottest possible outfits would be boring and naked like everybody else once they undress
- no family connections in the real sense which make them more individual and independent and therefore interesting. Belonging to a "class" of bots is similar, but carrying more interesting implications for developments, like when a bot gains awareness or changes and gets categorized as "error" or overcomes his class related limitations
- they don't age (at least not like humans)
- not true for all, but many transformers, classic mechas and OCs or robos from adult movies are adonis-shaped, combine that with their enforcer- or military nature and you get very masculine metallic beefcakes
- possibilities like mindhacking, body switching, implemented weapons and other cool sci-fi tropes and existential questions since they are sentient machines
- more of a japanese and transformers thing, but their glowing, pupilless eyes look cool and kind of cute
- I simply happen to consider armor hot as shit. Knights are already great, but even better is a guy that is the knight armor itselt
