Just checked the doc with all the SSR scenes - did drive lock the downloads for the event Kuya scenes? I can download event Garu's fine, but all the scenes for event Kuya say the download failed and the video can't be played.

I've been downloading all the scenes fine for the past couple of months and this is the first time I had any issues.

If it's the download quota thing, you can use this guide to bypass it:
https://www.reddit.com/r/google/comments/nfsgal/google_drive_download_quota_limit_exceeded_bypass/

Here are the steps they give:
1. On the upper right, click on organize/add to my drive and add a shortcut

2. Create a new folder

3. Put the shortcut inside that folder

4. From your own google drive page, right click the folder and download it

The file will be zipped but you can just extract it. Sometimes it might take a little time but I was able to download it pretty quickly with this method.

this is my first gacha game, so i'm enjoying it. i play it a little in the morning, and a little in the evening, and i don't spend money. all is good. the art/character design is great, and the story is fun.

i don't love that there's more tops than bottoms and i don't love how some of the fuck scenes look like they were drawn by fujos for fujos (i mean, they were). otherwise, it's a pretty alright game. but i'm also not weeb enough to have anything to compare it to.

The new gacha mechanic sucks. I won't be surprised if more people left because of it. The lewds in the SSR are the main attraction, but they made it even harder to get, and the h-scenes have questionable quality. They're very strict on the no leak content too so it's literal gamble for stuff you might not care about with the vague previews.

Not necerally. It's obviously part of it, but there was a fanart contest a couple days ago, and one of the rules was no non canon couples, meaning it has to be Eiden and someone else. They are completely avoiding ships, which is not fujo friendly at all.
I feel like the reason why they are being so rigid is that people pay to get what they expect. If you like a character, you're going to pull expecting a certain kind of scene.
For example, some dude may be more intersted in fucking Olivine than getting fucked by him, so they're going to pull for him expecting him to bottom (this is an Isekai after all, so it wouldn't surprise they're banking on self inserters as well). If you switch one of the characters, you're basically switching the appeal, and you're losing a potential customer, fujo or not.
All of this sucks for variety, but I get their reasoning.

I don't know if "people pay to get what they expect" is that logical when you never really know what you're going to get and the H scenes from the thumbnail preview.

Oh no. Yakumo's is even worse than I thought. Dat long neck. That whatever is happening to his arms and shoulder. Eiden's tiny body/dick and thin triangular nose that makes Yakumo huuuge in comparison. I think the artists are going for the porn view scene with the focus on the face and tilted body angles towards the viewer hence the weirdo painful looking proportions/angles or maybe that Hawkeye Initiative art meme. You get the ascension mat either via dupes or by spending a currency you get when rolling.
Shop > Special > Fragments.
30 currency per for SSRs for the first 30.
31-270 are 60 ea. I don't know prices above that.
