>>2945107Gay people are 100% allowed to critique this kind of content. The problem is most gay men don't give a shit, & it's mostly lesbians whining about it. I believe it's because back in the gamer gate Era there was controversy surrounding lesbian porn and men being creepy about lesbian relationships. Since these wlw want to be consistent about thier beliefs, they extend the same kind of critique of fujoshi too.
Most of these people criticizing this content are actually "calling out" fujoshi for apparently
fetishizing gay men. The word isn't "fetishizing" but objectifying, and players of the game are obviously going to get defensive when you accuse them of objectifying minorities. Women know more than anyone else what being objectified feels like which is why it isn't so easy to claim theyre objectifying gay men.
And if they're objectifying gay men then why are many BL characters straight? Wouldn't it be "sexier" if they were gay, the answer is that their sexual identity is the LEAST important thing in a BL.
You keep saying "gay people feel uncomfortable", okay, if you can't articulate why something makes you uncomfortable, no one is going to understand it. What we can do is stop doing the uncomfortable thing around you so that you're unbothered, but you seem to thrust yourself in such uncomfortable spaces.
So why do you feel the need to deliberately go after fujoshi spaces no matter how much they tell you in great detail how they don't fetishize gay men? and how gay men are allowed to participate in BL spaces. Most fujoshi are receptive to lgbt issues since many of them are lgbt themselves.
You're also on 4chan, people here keep throwing the n word and f slurs regardless of what board you're on. You're not going to get a good discussion here.
Fun fact, more than half of people who read yaoi identify as something other than cis or straight.
