>>2925922>Which tropes have you enjoyed the most this year?I continue to like delinquents. I'll rec some that I haven't seen mentioned here much.
>I'll Make You CryBest bud delinquents, one with a crush so obvious that the other one notices and reciprocates within the first chapter. Unfortunately, the one with the crush has been repressing it for so long that he's given himself erectile dysfunction. Oops. This is at the top because something about Maki's dumb haircut, lazy eyes, and sharp teeth does it for me. The mangaka nailed the concept of someone who isn't generally hot but looks great in bed. It's also nice to see an assertive but chill, non-tsundere delinquent bottom. Hot sex scenes, lots of fights, what more do you really want? Plot? Pshh, who gives a fuck, the yankees are punching each other.
>Biting a VampireMouthy idiot delinquent finds out his classmate is a vampire and decides he wants to be one too. The vampire won't bite him, so he bites the vampire instead. Hijinks ensure. This is just fun, stupid smut, but what's wrong with that? Plus, in black and white, the delinquent kinda looks like Guzma from Pokemon Sun and Moon.
>Aiseyo Bakemono/Just Love The MonsterIf the second half were as good as the first, this might be top of the list. It tries to show what can happen to dudes who go to shitty schools and grow up with few opportunities, I guess. I liked it but I wish the end wasn't so rushed.
>Randen to SagaA delinquent discovers that his new buddy has a supernatural ability: when he licks wounds, they heal. Good banter, decent number of fights, enjoyable plot with a solid dramatic climax. Not particularly smutty but the charm more than makes up for it.
>California MonogatariThis shit is old as balls and it gets very dark, but I'm mind blown I haven't seen it mentioned here. By the lady who did Banana Fish, Akimi Yoshida. Don't be put off by the art and writing at the beginning, it seriously evolves by the end. Too old to really be BL though.
