>>2930874Imo yeah. They weren't that hyped for no reason and like always most haters hate them for their popularity, otherwise they wouldn't bother posting everywhere how much they hate it.
It really helps to either start from the beginning of the IDW1 continuity or, if really you want to get into it with More than Meets the Eye like so many others to read at least Last Stand of the Wreckers before that otherwise you won't just get bombarded by a ton of yet unknown characters and terms but some smaller story aspects won't have the same impact.
I recommend reading the rest of IDW afterwards though, if you liked those series. Hell even if not they do feature a bunch of interesting ideas, worldbuilding and characters you could do something with, even when you don't like the canon. Even if this "doing with" is just about drawing porn of them.
