it's been said already but you definitely need to program some more emotional response into the npc, i think that might be priority

it would be cool to add a feature where you could customize him, maybe?

Maybe have a different backgrounds? The abandoned warehouse looks fine though a bit odd for the stuff. a bedroom would be a good place.
