Westerners are lazy and keep demonizing art and drawing as "childish" and lesser than any other kind of visual media so people don't even try when they're "creatives", I mean, compared to any other culture.
Like nips, who are fucking maniacs and get exposed to their huge animation/manga industry since birth. If you wanna make it then you better be good, else no one will want some half-ass drawings.
