>>2762308Meant to say aren't worth the monthly subscription,
>>2762312Think its worse when the patreon is full of commissions from higher tier patrons. I know a few where the artist was great and known for one thing, but the entire patreon was full of stuff like transformation and macro fetish commissions from a single patron's constant commissions. Then there are artists that turn their patreon to update blogs for their games, showing little bits of a game every post, but get nowhere close to finishing it or post other art regularly. And then there's famous artists like Rolando who charge like 10 bucks to access their old, widely available stuff and 20 to see new stuff...that he uploads no where near frequent enough for 20 bucks. Best patreons are ones where the artist is doing their thing regularly and it's the thing we know and like from them.
Teasers are mad annoying and yea, looking back, it did help kill Y!.
But yea, guess that's enough patreon bitching. I have a good one artist I follow and he really delivers with comics on a timely, monthly basis. Huge backlog too that makes it satisfying, not the "can't see my old stuff if you're a new patron so you have to stay every month!" bs.
Here's a pic to stay on topic. Kfutaba's Y! was the shit.
