They went from him just being a power up pill for sindel, to him & Liu Kang being the only 2 canonical titan slayers.
I know Johnny, Cassy and a few others took God's down. But our boy nabbed a titan, and that's pretty fucking groovy.
And to be fair though whilst I get why people are angry, I found it funny to play through sindels and shaos chapters seeing how smug they were predictjng they'll just get shit on by big dick Cary afterwards.
If only they didn't put his armour breaker in the shit variation this would be a perfect Shang love letter. Small complaint though
