For me though, I will not be getting gen 8 and it is for a completely different reason. Although it falls in line with "GameFreak lying", I am honestly pissed that they removed Random Encounters from the game. They promised that Gen 8 would have them when they showed off Eevee/Pikachu, and now they are shown lying again. And I understand why others like Visible Encounters... I just wish they would allow you to turn it off. And not only did they lie about it, they also made all the E3 trailers and pre-E3 trailers to make it seem like Random was still an option... and it was all fake.
I am just sick of game companies screwing around with me. I would buy used... but I will not enjoy the game.
