Carlnes & Audec are roughly the same height and have similar builds, so it isn't hard to confuse the two of them. Carlnes has dark brown hair, whereas Audec has dirty blonde hair and a facial scar.
In the past, I've mistaken Audec for another character named Argis, to whom Master has also shown an attraction, if I remember rightly. Argis is distinguished by a tattoo on the right half of his face. I believe he's also missing his left eye. I wonder why Aenaluck omitted him from the nude line-up that featured her other male characters?
It's clear that Aenaluck prefers drawing pin-ups and straight sex scenes, but she appears to be fascinated by the homoerotic subtext of male relationships and the interplay between dominant and submissive partners. I'm pleased she has allowed Master to evolve into a sexually fluid (I hope I'm using that term correctly) protagonist, who loves his wife but does not deny his attraction to larger, stronger, virile men like Carlnes and Audec.
Like you, I would like to see more gay sex (the comic in which Master and Audec flip-flopped was fire), but I also enjoy watching straight men be themselves, hence how pleased I was when Carlnes' comic was shared in this thread.
