>>2596855There are several reasons. If R76 is what they are doing, they are obviously rewriting both characters (mostly Reaper) and their story from the ground up, because nothing can convince me this was ever planned. I don't like the direction they are taking the characters.
I also think that there is already enough questions and tons of lore between the two without adding a romantic layer. Actually, it undermines every other layer and aspect of their relationship, and it takes away from their story instead of adds to it.
R76 fans are also the most heinous, annoying, terrible shippers I've encountered in the fandom. Even McHanzo fans are more sane.
