>>2541506>>2541229Ugh, yes. I've seen so many artists on patreon that really should stay away from a #2 pencil, let alone an art program. I'm a decent artist, took a few classes in high school and college, but I wouldn't consider myself patreon-worthy. I've seem some shit that looks like 5th grade chicken scratch. What's scarier is they usually have 2-3 patrons, probably do-gooders that are just there for encouragement. Some people have that innate talent, others just don't.
But yeah, establish a fanbase, first. I hate mentioning it but deviantart isn't too bad of a place to garner a following, too, which can help move people towards your blog or twitter when they want 'more'.
