They're just finally going back to WanWan games, which is what they always wanted to do from the start. The pair want to be know for their own creations, not as "the dumb guys from Oneyplays", and I really respect that. Also I agree with Julian's view on the game industry and not wanting to support that anymore. DingDong is coming back for a goodbye episode, but Julian is 100% done. Breaks my heart, but I support their decision entirely. Besides, DD is still going to stream occasionally, mostly game dev stuff but he worked way too long on getting that twitch partnership I don't see him ditching that any time soon. Plus without the oneyplays revenue and merch sales, streaming might need to become their secondary source of income, they were struggling in that area even with the youtube money. Also DD reactivated his twitter, so we can still get small updates on how things are going for them.
