Like some kinks they write really well and the chapter ends up being super sexy. Some are so cliche, I need up rolling my eyes. Like chapter one is a little cringy for my tastes.

Plus I'm insanely picky and I also lean to only waste my time reading rare pairs. A lot of the smut fics on Ao3 are characterXreader (written poorly too) or they have all the characters all aged up so much it really becomes too OCC for me. OR they ruin the fic by contently shoving the consent in our faces. For fuck sake, just allow to people to fuck without having to stop to bluntly say "This is ok?" and then have them reply "Yes." Ugh. Really takes you out of it, especially when it happened in 9.5 times out of 10.
I'm sure there are other great fics out there, but after I hit page 37 on Ao3 and it's all Villain Deku raping Bakuguo or a clumsy All Might and Aizawa, I gave up. maybe some other anon dug up some diamonds in the rough?
