Tagame does have stories where the bad guys get their due though, but the good guy is still terribly scarred mentally and sometimes physically debilitated as well.
Major Tsubaki is trying his damnedest to follow the old adage: "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade". But I don't think there is enough sugar in the world to mix with the countless truckloads of lemons being dumped on him.
Not only is he trying to deal with the enemy he fought against, now he has to deal with a new one. These being his fellow comrades!
