>>2420232No one calls porn artists problematic for not drawing canon cismales with pussies, dude. I mean, that's a nice fantasy, but it doesn't happen in reality or on tumblr.
What they DO get called problematic for is making nsfw "trans representation" (because they're too pussy to call it what it is, porn) that, rather than being realistic or positively portrayed, is just totally fetishizing, poorly researched, etc.
Like, "futa" and "cuntboy" porn skeeves me out, but it's there, it's not going away, and people of all kinds consume it. Heck, I, a trans man, consume really gross, degrading "cuntboy" porn because there's like barely anything else in the 'my body' department. I don't agree with coming down on porn artists for drawing trans porn and making a mistake or two doing it because uhhhh I want my porn?
Where porn artists get called "problematic" it's normally because they're not calling their porn 'porn', they're unwilling to admit they're consuming trans bodies to 'get off' instead of portraying them for 'representation' (a more noble goal), etc.
There is some trans porn (normally more along the lines of sex-positive art rather than depictions of raunchy, kinky fucking) that's empowering! Hint hint-it's normally by trans people, not cis people. Drastically different in tone and content even if there is sometimes some crossover.
