There's certainly relationships where things are locked in place, and accordingly fandoms that are the same, but OnS never struck me as that. At least Mika and Yuu never did.
Mika's got like an inch of height on Yuu, but Yuu is heavier and more muscular - and is still growing unlike Mika. Both have points in which they're emotionally in control over the other, but Yuu clearly has the reigns most of the time and has Mika wrapped around his finger. But because Ferid called him Mika's princess and he got picked up bridal style that one time, his fate was somehow sealed. It's fairly silly.
