Apparently, the Korean translation made him sound even fucking gayer: the word he used to describe Atem/Yugi was annoying, but the it means in a cute/adorable way.
Just one thing to remember is WOG it's manga based, though it seems more anime like in some of the personalities. No filler arcs, and Seto wasn't anywhere nearby when the final duel took place. which is why the characterization might feel a bit wonkey.
Also, some pretty strong Yugi/Seto vibes as Yugi tries to bond with Seto over their shared loss.
