But I know what you're actually saying is you want them to still do the quantity and quality of art they're doing, but for free, while earning money on other work on the side. OR, you're saying that the whole yaoi scene will be BETTER without those guys and their work, even if their work is quality.
I've seen so many great artists disappear when they got full jobs. People work on drawing concept art garbage for other people's ideas all day and then they come home and don't feel like drawing anymore, so they just play video games or watch tv. They're making their living but it's a drain. I'd rather toss an artist I like a few bucks a month so they can make what they want full time and not starve, vs condemning them to mainstream work, and then expecting them to keep making free stuff.
People are gonna pirate, and I'm not condemning that. If you don't have the money then you don't have the money. But all this shitting on the artists and saying they're essentially not welcome in your gay porn club if they're trying to make a living with their skills is bullshit. Pretending your theft is "righteous" because the artist is charging unjustly is bullshit. Artist can literally live off making work they love, and that's amazing, whether it's original stuff or naruto porn. Just let people be happy, motherfucker.
