For anyone wondering what happened with goddamnhella:
I was able to find Hella on social media under a different name. Not gonna dox because it would be pointless and I'd feel bad. Can probably find it yourself if you try, but there's not much to see, and I get the feeling she'd take a sudden influx of people as a reason to disappear more thoroughly.
She's perfectly polite about it, but she's also pretty damn clear that it's a dead end as far as her fic is concerned. She won't be providing further downloads. She doesn't seem to want to talk about her work at all, even if the discussion is positive. She doesn't have much to say about why she left. Just personal reasons and needing some distance from fandom.
I hope she finds the distance inspiring and decides to write more someday, but for now I'm just happy not to lose these.
