>>2268412SnK, sure, but Free was definitely not as popular as Osomatsu-san. Free was just a small, self-contained little show whose target audience was basically just females ages 15-30. Osomatsu-san is a gag cartoon with humor that can appeal to anyone in any age group past, like, 6th grade (where they'd be old enough to understand the sex jokes). It's also an older IP. Osomatsu-kun was already a well-known anime/manga strip in Japan.
All that said, it's definitely less popular in the West than Free (at least so far), which is why there's a lack of scanned doujins.
