Most of them cannot write all that well, and it just saddens me that this is what they spend their time on. They could have learned so much about physics, chemistry, calculus, music, real literature, astronomy, geography, coding, et cetera and et infinitum.
The more well-written stories amount to nothing more then literary pornography. Some of it quite vile. There's a reason child pornography has criminal implications, but fanfiction can go willy nilly using book/movie teenagers and children in some very disturbing things.
As a matter of fact, I have seen numerous individuals admit at wanking to certain fics. Strikes you as odd, doesn't it?
Humanity has been around for many thousands of years, some animals for longer. Doesn't it strike people as odd that we have survived, thrived, advanced and procreated without Sex Ed for all thsi time? How do other mammals know that tab A goes into slot B?
