>Currently, the show we’re working on is A Midsummer Night’s Dream
>I am playing Peter Quince (leader of a comedy troupe) and my best friend under the sun is Nick Bottom (dude who gets a donkey head)
>Rehearsals pick up right after Spring Break
>Rejected by a girl right before such break
>Went on vacation, great for getting my mind off it
>Anyways, to the story
>There’s this girl
>I saw her at some other shows that she stage managed (basically tracking props and being responsible for any on-stage incidents and etc for you non-theatrefags)
>Said hi and shit, she was dating a buddy of mine
>Never got close, though
>But then I did
>I’ll call her K for such story
>In our director’s office cutting scripts with K and my bff (I’ll Call him T)
>I make a joke about One Piece to myself (I’m also a weeb)
>K laughs
>Later make a Legend of Zelda reference
>K laughs again
>I am stunned
>I immediately decide that we will be best friends
>Start talking to her more and more often, both love anime and nerd stuff
>Eventually steal her phone and put my number in as Nick Cage
>Her BF (my friend, call him D) asks are you the one true god
>Sneakily text back yes

>She eventually finds out that it was me
>Start texting on the reg
>I’m still only pursuing friendship here
>She eventually texts me about her relationship with D and how she feels he doesn’t really like her as much as she likes him
>I tell her usual moralizing bullshit
>I’m sure he does, if he didn’t he’d be an idiot, blah blah blah
>She tells me thanks
>Go to bed happy I helped
>Wake up in the morning
