If most of the porn posted here on /y/ comes from Tumblr (which I don't think is true but maybe I'm wrong) is because a lot of that Tumblr porn was actually stolen from other sites (such as Pixiv), NOT drawn by Tumblr artists but I admit that there are a lot of talented artists that actually post their art there. There are (or were?) many Tumblr blogs dedicated to posting yaoi from all over the Internet no matter where they found it (although recently there have been more blogs that ask the original artists before reposting their art), and many of that porn was posted here in low resolution, which, by the way, caused a bunch of pics to horribly decrease in quality.
