At least, nothing that would compare to artists of a higher calibre. Sure, they might have slaved longer over a single piece, but the pieces of good artists are a culmination of YEARS of work. "Effort" isn't spending time on one piece, but having the discipline to spend time on polishing your skills over a number of years. I'm sure that if any of these artists continued to draw (and practice, not just draw the same errors over and over), then their art will inevitably improve.
