This was my first RE book. I wanted to make it a gag book so I wound up focusing mostly on the Mercenaries mode. The title comes from what Chris says during Mercenaries when he praises you. There was nothing better than hearing that you had good teamwork from your captain! I did want to put more of Chris in his zebra stripe outfit in this one, though

I planned to draw romantic Wesker/Chris comics from their STARS days all the way up to RE5, but the story got really dark for some reason. This was right around the time that The Darkside Chronicles came out, so I tried to put some knife play in it – a delicious special item for Wesker and Chris.

Most of the events are based around chapter one when Chris still doesn’t have his memories back. (Even though Jake and Sherry make an appearance.) I tried to imagine what it would have been like for the two of them to work and relax together back when he still couldn’t remember anything – and was jealous of his old self, back when he was captain. I think many of Chris’s dubbed lines are amusing, and I liked to have him stand around and talk to Piers. He acts totally different from when he and Piers were together in Edonia…! Piers is more stoic in the dub, but I think his dialogue is cute. “I can’t right now”, “I don’t think I can make it”… he’s just so adorable I love playing him!
The dub made me enjoy the game all over again, but I can’t help but dream that they’ll come out with more episodes and more outfits.
After this I think my next comic will focus on Chris and Piers getting busy, too.
I hope we meet again sometime!

As for the list hmm... such a temptation, as i said i really want everything with Piers and Chris in it but i'm gonna go with: FunnyCrew's Sweet Dreams, Mofu's Rainbow Goldfish, Anagura's Beloved Captain and Yamagi's HOPE.

Feels like I'm pushing it but that's as far as i can narrow it down xD

Isn't Anagura's works all Top Piers though? I'm unsure as to which is this one exactly but i love their style.

Correct, Anagura's stuff is top piers. As are Funny Crew's Lovesick and Hot Mission. I'm not terribly fussy about who tops, but I know some people are so I should be more specific lol. Funny Crew used to do Piers/Chris almost exclusively then sort of switched to Chris/Piers.

Unfortunately that artist that you link is only selling in Taiwan, and I don't know anybody who will be at that event... I also had a bit of a chuckle, because they make Piers taller than Chris, which isn't even remotely accurate lol. I guess he needs a couple inch boost to stick his dick in something rather than the other way around, oh yaoi~~~

As for Funny Crew she has almost always done top!Chris x bottom!Piers as I've been watching her art for a while, with the exception of Hot Mission where Piers almosts tops but not quite and of course Love Sick, as well as "Top Secret" one of her latest ones in where they flip flop, her artworks are Chris/Piers 90% of the case.

As for the heights, they're not standing lol, I've seen more samples and Chris is handcuffed to the bed from the start, I believe there's no real difference in their height in the game, despite the stats capcom released, seems there's one generic height for the males and another for the females in the game.

Nah, that artist you linked me has other pics of them standing and Piers is noticeably taller than Chris in them ;p It's just funny to me because I'm also in the CoD fandom and even though Soap is much taller than Price, in game and in all of the official art, some people who ship Price/Soap will draw the former as taller. It's funny that the top/bottom tall/short stereotypes are so ingrained that artists will actually change the characters to fit them.

RE: the game - In the game the models might not have much difference in the gameplay itself, but in all of the cut scenes Piers is markedly shorter (and smaller) than Chris.

And np, it might take a while though. I think I only have one of those already translated. I'll post it tonight if I get the chance.

You're right, the cutscenes is were some height different is noticeable, not too much though, perhaps an inch? The difference in muscle size it's obvious and is one of the things I love of them together.

The sterotypes of the top having to be taller/bigger/older are ridiculous, love me some Piers topping his captain, I think their ship makes the versatility work, unlike Chis' previous gay ships.

Thanks for reading this far! I’ve been a fan of the Resident Evil series for a long time and played a lot of the games, but this is my first book for the fandom. RE6 has been out for more than half a year now, so I’m getting a late start, but I never could have imagined that Piers would be this charming.
I wanted to end the book on a happy note, so while it was a little bit sad I made sure to draw it with love.
I’ve always liked Chris as the uke, so you might be wondering why I made this Chris/Piers, but I can only say that Piers is a dashing, lovable angel and I couldn’t help myself…
As far as the title, “HOPE”, is concerned, it’s meant to represent the hope that keeps Chris alive and his reason for fighting – namely, Piers.
Finally, it goes without saying that Piers’ file gave me chills.
This is getting long enough, so I’ll stop here. Thanks again for picking up this book!
