- Beautiful art (style's not for everyone, maybe)
- Loved the OST
- No other piece of media in creation can even pretend to be anything like the plot/premise of Sweet Pool
- Deeply endearing supporting characters
- Voice acting = very very good
Things I did not like about SP:
- NO. GOOD. ENDINGS.(Creators threw a few pitiful bones of "what if there were actual happy endings" material in the form of cute official art and drama CDs)
- Plot revelations create more questions than they answer
- "True Route" Tetsuo is milktoast boring and is the only one who gets any actual romance with MC
- Tore my heart out of my chest and ground it underfoot
- Zenya's dad is the most evil piece of shit
- What the fuck happens after the Red Road ending???? it's been 7 years I want to know
TL:DR I love Sweet Pool as much as I hate it. I mostly recommend it to people as a litmus test to see if their tolerance level for fucked up shit is on par with mine. It has some sexy scenes here and there but it's not something you play for the erotica.
