Weirdly my sexual awakening was finding this very board at age ~11. It was the first thing that came up on Google when I searched "yaoi" (the internet was different back then, 2008ish?). I wasn't expecting anything sexually explicit so when I clicked on /y/ I was just as shocked as I was intrigued, it was the first time I had seen depictions of gay sexual intimacy and I felt an immediate sense of shame and recognition simultaneously.
