Yeah, the reading portion of the test is just simple reading comprehension now. Those test scores indicate the average high school student can't comprehend a standard book, much less a scientific article. Maybe it's ESL students dragging the scores down...I hope so.

Basically modern America is going through a massive dysgencis. The morons are reproducing the most where as the smartest are not. Hell I got a 26 on my act which is above average. I'm 25 and don't have kids and don't plan on having them. Just want to fuck women and enjoy life and I use birth control. Other people simply don't. They have 3 or 4 kids and expect welfare to pay for it. Pretty soon this country is going to resemble a idiocracy.

Didn't the SAT stop being an IQ test back in the 1980s

Anybody can score high on it through studying now. All this shows is a lack of conscientiousness. The math scores are roughly the same which reading went down. Perhaps the reading material has degraded

I don't understand why the people boring between 1987 and 1990 had the highest scores, since they would om average be the students taking the SAT in 2005, and 2005 has the highest average scores, what was the educational climate back then? Was tv more educational, was there less personal phone use?
