My own mother, a teacher, was appalled at the situation.
I, someone who was against home-schooling in the past because of the social problems it used to create, now no longer think it's a bad thing when considering the psychological damage this system has just inflicted on these poor kids.
That's without even taking into account what the teachers actually teach (other than covid protocols). That's just the mere appearance and suffocating nature of how it occurred and how that would impact the psych of a child.
Those kids are living in and seeing literal hell now. They're all going to be twisted as hell because of the ridiculous protocols.
Until we make sure this never happens again, I will not recommend standard systematised schooling unless you are in poverty and raising a child (in that case, you have more traumatising things to deal with than covid).
Forget the education certificates, it's not even worth it now unless you've gone through most of school already.
