and I am sick of pretending it doesn't. Physicists have a culture of circlejerking about classical mechanics. There are good reasons for it, sure.
But the worship of it is outright silly, and quantum mechanics is just plain superior in many ways. Superposition principle alone is an infinitely more viable property than most of what classical mech has to offer

>exploitation of symmetry
>trivial to change representations
You just learn so, so much more from studying a single quantum system than you do from studying a single classical system. The reach of a given solution generalizes just so much more. It's just the more powerful theory.
