>>14417575I don't think that's it. I set my grip and keep it constant, letting the can rotate on the countertop beneath the can opener. It will get 1/2 to 3/4 of the way around, and then it always rises up over the lid.
It never overrides before the halfway point, so why doesn't it just go the rest of the way? There's something deep going on here, something that probably depends upon quantum mechanics at its heart.
