Literally the only thing he was right about were the vague qualitative statements that unconscious motivations exist and that dreams can have something to do with your emotional experience. Both are not even his own merit but he stole the ideas from other 19th century neurologists. All his other theories were bullshit.
>the id, the ego and the superego
Oversimplified, untestestable pseudophilosophical conjecture with no actual implications.
>theory of sexual drives as cause of mental illness or even of cultural problems
Purely degenerate propaganda that dehumanizes and sexualizes everything. Has been deboonked countless times.
>his theory of sexual development of children
Even worse grooming crap, literally the basis for today's trannyism.
>his method of treatment
Inconsistent, antiscientific garbage. His method goes no further than talking and dogmatically asserts the therapist to be the sole source of knowledge/truth. That's like going to the doctor and stopping at a potential misdiagnosis. Where's the cure then? He doesn't have one and he even rejects the notion that a cure would be necessary. So why conduct the therapy then at all?
>his texts on history/culture/religion
Worthless from a point of historical science. He merely reinterpreted his shallow understanding of ancient events/myths to fit his own narrative.
