What is the safest, cheapest, and most-reliable way to synthesize specific peptides at home?
The answers I have found are:
1. Putting in-tact ribosomes in water along with RNA and dNTPs that I would somehow get
2. Using an expression vector on a bacteria to make it produce the peptide
3. Using bacteria to produce amino acids which I then combine to form the peptide in some way (I assume this is a more-convoluted, less-efficient version of method 2)
