Why do female-to-male transgenders seem more rare compared to male-to-female transgenders? Is there a biological explanation for this?

Mtf transgenders are most often just men desperate to be part of a group. Many probably also have other problems and attribute them to gender. The whole lgbt bubble markets itself as a community. I rarely see mtf transgender which aren't "lesbian".

Because mtfs still hang out in male spaces like 4chan and ftm's still hang out in female spaces like Instagram. You don't see them. Also they can pass way easier if they take testosterone

They aren't, this is availability bias. Or should I say, they may be more common than FTM but they are by no means to most common trans type. That would probably be female to non binary I believe. FTM transexuals also don't really draw attention to themselves in comparison to how open MTF transexuals are about their trans status

Notice the language shift. More women identify as men. But more men are getting surgeries to look like women. The rate of transsexuals still is weighted toward MtF
